Photos may have created a second Photos Library on the system Drive, if it cannot access the external Seagate drive, but needs to sync with My Photo Stream. I found the following on the boards here and did all of it: After clearing out the files, it seemed for a short while that Photos was the lone problem.I've cleared out a ton of files and have plenty of space now.I can't reproduce the problems in either - it's restricted to my own user account. I've started in safe mode, and as another user. ![]() Sometimes it's not clear what's caused the system to freeze - everything stops working at once. Today the Finder, System Preferences, and Photos have all frozen to the point of Force Quit. My problems have survived several upgrades with no change or improvement.Īll my apps are subject to freezing/beachballing. To start fresh: I have a 2014 Mac Air, running Mojave 10.14.6. I've asked about it before unfortunately I can't find that earlier discussion. I'm returning with an issue I've had for over a year. ![]()
